16X16 Array Channel-Reducing Charge Division SiPM Readout

Preamplified bases support 4x4, 8x8, 12x12, and 16x16 SiPM arrays from Hamamatsu and SensL. Channel reduction is accomplished by our patented diode-coupled charge division technology providing 4-channel readout and row-and-column readout of large-area SiPM arrays. Bases connect to our SiPM Interface Modules and evaluation boards.

SiPM Interface Modules power the SiPM bases, buffer SiPM signals for an external ADC, and provide a sum of all SiPM signals to an internal or external discriminator. Interface Modules connect to our MDU series USB data acquisition products. Evaluation boards can be connected to an ADC or oscilloscope.

16-Channel and 32-Channel USB Data Acquisition for SiPM Arrays

MDU Series high-speed USB 2.0 integrating ADCs capture the SiPM signals and digitize all channels simultaneously. The can sustain trigger rates up to 1.2 MHz for 16 channels and up to 600 kHz for 32 channels. The MDU Series ADCs connect to our SiPM Interface Modules. They can also be used with standard photomultipliers and PSPMTs.
